Hope in the Fire

As we are all aware, there are people who are quick to diagnose the reasons for which trials come, and, sometimes, they limit themselves, as Job’s comforters did, to blaming the person who is having the trial: that person, they say, must certainly have sinned, and probably, have sinned very drastically! The Bible, June points out, shows us various causes of trials. In any case, she notes, it is important to focus on what should be our attitudes during trials, how God can be very close to us throughout their duration, and how He is refining us during their process. While not minimizing trials, this booklet, I think, helps! Right now, in fact, I am thinking of at least one person who would probably benefit greatly from a copy and be encouraged by its contents. When we experience trials, it is easy to focus on the difficulties, and to develop a kind of tunnel vision. Ms. Hunt, as always, helps us to take a higher look, and, as always, encourages us to get our spiritual focus right. Rose Publishing kindly provided me with an advance reader copy.
